double digits...

So just a brief freak out before I start all my DIY-goodness... I am officially 99 days away from my wedding. Typically, time frames don't bother me. I come from a long line of procrastinators and crazy as it may seem, I do my best under pressure. HOWEVER, after helping my bestie with her wedding, I promised myself that I would NOT wait until the last minute to get things done.

And yes, 99 days seems like a long time to wait to marry the love of my life. But in those short 99 days I have my wedding stuff, my friend's wedding in Jamaica and am planning her home reception that will take place 3 weeks before my wedding, need to start and finish another friend's invitation suite for her December wedding... not to mention bachelorette parties and bridal showers... oh... and everything that is non-wedding related.

Eye on the prize... 99 days until I'm a Mrs {oh no... enter a whole new freak-out!}

Shwuu... thanks for the vent!

Sincerely-

Freak-out Fran

Let's start from the beginning!

I have been contemplating if I wanted to start a blog for over a year now and just keep putting it off. How will anyone find it? Who's going to want to read it? Do I even have anything to say? And I do have to admit that I am absolutely obsessed with reading blogs. It first started out with wedding blogs and has since moved to cooking blogs, design blogs, travel blogs, scrapbooking blogs... yup... the blogging world has really led me to be my inner Martha!!! But like I tell my fiance, this obsession is totally NOT my fault {wink, wink}... Google Reader and my Crackberry are my enablers!!

Anyway... so how does one go from being obsessed with reading blogs to actually starting one? Well, you decide that not only to plan your own wedding, but also 4 other weddings... all prior to your own. That's right... I have decided to take on my own wedding as well as my friends. Why? Because, it is not that I hate my job... but I don't love it. One day I want to be able to say that I have a job that I LOVE... and event planning just may be that outlet!

So, I start writing to anyone who will listen because I have just completed my first actual wedding this past weekend. My best friend from high school made the most beautiful bride and I had the honor of not only being her wedding planning, but also her MOH... an honor that, at times, was a very trying task! So... over the next few posts I will explain how we got her from "I will" marry you last July to... "I do" marry you!

Oh... and I'll be adding lots of stuff from my own wedding planning as well!
